Being situated on the edge of the Clwydian Range we do get proper snow! Not to worry though we have plenty of supplies of logs and food and we have a snow plough for the back of the tractor.

The animals live outside all year, they prefer it that way. They have access to shelter and only come in when the weather is really bad!

The lettuce crops stop growing by the end of November and we are kept busy over the winter deep cleaning the polytunnels and keeping them clear of snow.

The Hut is shut during January and February so this is a great time to get any jobs done.
