As the nights draw in it's time to light the log burner and get cosy.

The trees begin to turn and the heather flowering on the mountain turns the landscape purple.

 

With the baby birds safely fledged Autumn is a good time for us to get on with some of the maintenance around the farm, fixing fences and shelters getting them ready for winter.

Autumn is a great time to get out and explore the local countryside, with flat surfaced paths and steeper scrambles - there really is something for everyone!
